Dyna Mendoza is a Filipino American artist, mother of fraternal twins, fierce advocate within the special needs community, storyteller, and illustrator. One of her sons is typically functioning and the other had a rare genetic disorder and special needs. She shares their journey of growing up together in hopes of teaching readers to celebrate inclusion, empathy, and diversity.

Dyna is also a creative director with a Bachelor of Fine Arts
in graphic design and has spent many years in the media field doing marketing, brand activations, and corporate branding. However, she has found her true calling, writing and illustrating stories about raising twins while navigating life with a special needs son and finding the joys in witnessing empathy, acceptance, and compassion through their journey.

Dyna wrote and illustrated each of these books as a love letter to her family and she is excited to share them with you!!
